A Look at the Major
Sociology is the scientific study of social behavior. The field ranges from the study of social influences on individuals and personal relationships to complex societies. Our concerns range from understanding human behavior to policy and evaluation. In our courses, you learn how to study and explain social behavior. You also learn how to evaluate social information. We offer a major and a minor for our students, as well as a full array of courses that may interest you and also serve to meet General Education requirements.
