Essay Question

In M.T. Anderson’s Feed, the authentic thoughts and feelings of the main characters are supplanted by the persistent chat, bannering, and consumer profiling functions of the feed. In a short essay, compare and contrast the extent to which Titus and Violet are controlled by and/or resistant to the feed. Be sure to discuss the larger cultural implications for the ways in which each character interfaces with the feed. Your essay must have a well developed thesis that is supported with citations from the text.
