At its April 13 meeting, the Administrative Group voted to eliminate the Best Buy Guarantee program, primarily due to lack of demand. However, the more popular aspect of the two-pronged program the 12-month payment plan now exists as a stand-alone option. "It was a good idea at the time it was developed to help students plan for staggering tuition raises. The climate for now has changed and we have other 'products' to promote to meet our students' needs. The focus now is far more on quality," said group member Karla Linn Merrifield, marketing communications. |
