Every year, the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) declares the second full week in April to be National Student Employment Week. The College at Brockport will join in this national celebration the week of April 12-18, 2015.
Here at The College at Brockport, more than 2,200 students are employed by the College, playing a key role in our educational, research, and operational excellence. Student employees perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. At the same time, they develop important skills and experience.
Our student employees contribute to the academic and extra-curricular aspects that make Brockport such an excellent place to educate students. Not only do the students help keep Brockport functioning, but the combined contributions of mentors, supervisors, and peers help our students enter the workforce as better employees.
All schools, program areas and departments at the College are encouraged to take the opportunity during National Student Employee Appreciation Week, and throughout the year, to thank their student employees and let them know that their efforts are valued. Please download our Tips on Ways to Recognize your Student Employees. A template for a Certificate of Appreciation [PDF] is also available for your use.
