Department of Theatre
Dick St George has been in the Department since 1983 and holds the rank of Professor. Mr. St George is an accomplished actor/director and playwright. He acts and directs at the college and in the professional theatre community. He has toured in the one-man production of Bully from New York to Florida. Some of his favorite directing challenges include: Barnum, Cabaret, Phaedra, A Piece of My Heart, Under Milk Wood and Lend Me a Tenor. Some of his favorite acting roles include: Cyrano, Tartuffe, Barnum, Michael (I Do! I Do!), Dr. Nyizli (The Grey Zone), and Nick (The Guys). Several of his plays (In The Beginning, Last Period, Fore Bert, SHHH!) have received national attention. Outside of the world of Theatre, Dick enjoys cooking, golfing and supporting The Bears, Celtics and Red Sox.
