The deadline for submission for the Festival of Ten VI has now passed and scripts are no longer being accepted. The Department of Theatre wishes to thank all of the playwrights who have submitted plays.

We will now begin our screening process.  Our screening committee will now begin reading the plays in a double blind system. The readers do not know the author’s name or the scores given by the other screeners. The eight screeners on the committee are a mix of faculty from the College at Brockport, playwrights and theatre professionals.

After the initial screening process we will conduct staged readings of all of the plays that have made it through the first round.  Those plays which are not between seven and fourteen minutes when read aloud will be eliminated. Those that remain will be scored and the top ten will receive a full production as part of our Festival of Ten VI in February 2009.
