THE STORY by Tracey Scott Wilson

AUDITIONS

An ambitious black newspaper reporter goes against her editor to investigate the murder of a white teacher and finds the BEST story….but at what cost?  Wilson explores the elusive truth as the boundaries between reality and fiction, morality and ambition become dangerously blurred.
“…a riveting, tough- minded drama about race, reporting and the truth…” – Associated Press
“A singular new voice…deeply emotional, deeply intellectual, and deeply musical…” – The New Yorker
“…a conscientious and absorbing new drama…” – The New York Times

Performances will be in April at:
GEVA Theatre Center in Rochester and at the College at Brockport

Auditions are January 27th and 28th in Tower Fine Arts at 5pm
