Your supervisor will evaluate your job performance.  The evaluation is based on five areas of performance, which are outlined on the Student Employee Evaluation Form (click here to see example).  The evaluation will be discussed with you and you will sign the form when you have reviewed it.   Your evaluation may be kept on file at your department, and made available to other campus supervisors considering hiring you.

If your performance is satisfactory, your supervisor may choose to recommend you for a pay raise.  Please discuss your department's policy on raises with your supervisor.

As you prepare to leave a job, you may want to ask your supervisor for a letter of reference regarding your performance and abilities.  The College will open a Credential File for you.  This file holds letters of reference for you, and the College will send it to prospective employers at your request.   To open a Credential File, visit the Records Office, 2nd floor, Rakov Center.
