Get Involved!
If you are bored at Brockport, you're not doing something right!
While your academics are very important to your success in college, you must also take time to make your experience a well rounded one. There are many opportunities to take advantage of extracurricular activities at the College.
Have you thought about representing Transfer Students?
Select transfer students meet once a month throughout the semester to discuss many topics ranging from transition, course work, locating advisors, living on and off campus, etc. Don't miss your opportunity to be a leader on campus. Become a member of the Transfer Council.
How about joining a club?
There are over 60 clubs on campus that are always open to having new students join!
Looking to become active in Brockport Student Government (BSG)?
BSG offers many opportunities to volunteer, become an executive member, or even start a new club!
Do you want to be more physically active?
Taking part in intramural sports can offer you the athletic experience without joining a varsity level sport.
Looking to go Greek?
There are a number of Greek organizations recognized by the College.
How about a nice getaway?
The Office of Campus Life facilitates a number of weekend getaways throughout the semester.
Remember, it's up to you to make the most of your experience as a student at the College. It's important to step outside of your comfort zone and take advantage of everything Brockport has to offer.
