MISSION
Campus Life collaborates with students, staff, faculty, and the community in creating, supporting and implemented diverse programs and services to enrich the personal growth and development of the campus community through active learning and engagement.

- Homecoming Weekend, Family Weekend and Welcome Week
- Campus- wide Programming
- Student Event Policy Management
- Management of the Seymour College Union
- Management of WBSU 89.1 The Point campus radio station
- Polar Plunge
- Senior Week

Academic Quality & Engagement
- Provide educational purposeful opportunities for students through our graduate assistant and intern opportunities
Co-Curricular Programming & Supportive Services
Campus Life facilitated major events and committees will be recognized for their student centered focus
- Reorganize the structure of Homecoming, Family Weekend, and Welcome Weekend to a student centered focus with direct student leadership for Homecoming & Family Weekend, and student leadership for the Welcome Weekend Assistant program
- Increase student involvement in Campus Life facilitated committees and build collaborative efforts amongst campus constituents on the student experience that involve programming initiatives
- Reorganize the Campus Wide Programming Committee into the Student Experience Team (SET).
- Develop an application process for student involvement on SET
- Implement training for students on the online space reservation system and event planning by fall 2011 at The College at Brockport, the Seymour College Union will become recognized as the center of campus life focusing on building community and providing an environment for active and engaged learning for our students and larger community
- Develop a Union Advisory Board
- Enhance a solid student employee training program in collaboration with other departments on campus
- Administer ACUI/EBI College Union/Student Center Assessment
- Offer students the opportunity to attend Regional ACU-I conferences to learn about Union and Student Activities
- Complete Union electronic handbook for online
- Develop budgetary cycle for meeting room technological replacements

- Develop a renovation/construction plan for the Seymour College Union

- Continue to reorganize the structure of Homecoming, and reorganize Family Weekend and Welcome Week to a student centered focus with direct student leadership for Homecoming & Family Weekend, and student leadership for the Welcome Weekend Assistant program
- Increase student involvement in the Family Weekend and Welcome Week committees in order to build collaborative efforts amongst campus constituents on the student experience that involve programming initiatives
- Develop an application process for student involvement on SET implement a student event management process in collaboration with the campus event management process with BASC
- Implement training for students on the online space reservation system and event planning by fall 2011 at The College at Brockport, the Seymour College Union will become recognized as the center of campus life focusing on building community and providing an environment for active and engaged learning for our students and larger community
- Develop an outdoor reservation space policy and communicate to campus.
- Further develop the structure for the Union Advisory Board
- Administer ACUI/EBI College Union/Student Center Assessment Fall 2011
- Offer students the opportunity to attend Regional ACU-I conferences to learn about Union and Student Activities
- Develop budgetary cycle for meeting room technological replacements
- Develop a cycle of critical maintenance for the Union
- Develop a marketing campaign for the College Union and outside agencies in order to increase use of the facility during Winter and summer breaks.
Learning Environment & Quality of Place
- Work with BASC and Facilities and Planning to develop a renovation/construction plan for the Seymour College Union
- Develop a marketing place promoting the Union and its activities using the new logo
