You need to let us know in advance, however, that you need to be picked up. Please call, write, fax or e-mail the Office of Campus Life by Mon., Aug. 20 with your name, arrival time, location, how many pieces of luggage you will have with you, and any other pertinent information. Phone (585) 395-5646, fax (585) 395-2567 or e-mail camlife@brockport.edu.
On-campus students should know that for opening weekend, traffic on Residence Drive is restricted to one way. Please check the campus map to find suggested routes to the different halls. Students moving into the residence halls can utilize any parking lots on Fri., Aug. 24 Sun., Aug. 26. Lots O, P, Q and R on Residence Drive are restricted as drop-off zones only. Please help us keep traffic flowing by moving your vehicle once it is unloaded. It is not necessary to park near your residence hall, as employees of the College will move belongings from your vehicle to your room from 9 am 5 pm each of these days.
Important: Students assigned to McFarlane, McLean and Thompson Halls do not need to bring carpeting with them as all rooms are already carpeted.
Luggage shipped ahead to the campus may be picked up at the Receiving Office in Chapman Service Center (Building 35 on campus map) Mon. Fri., 8 am 4:30 pm. (See special weekend hours for Welcome Weekend.) Naturally, you must provide appropriate identification.
If you havent received an on campus room assignment letter by Aug. 1 or if you need on-campus housing, call Residential Life at (585) 395-2108.
