Transfer Student Advisement & Course Registration

Only for transfer students who have not yet registered. Prior to attending a General Advisement Session you MUST FIRST pick up a copy of your degree audit and registration packed in the Office of Academic Advisement. General advisement sessions take place at 11 am and 1 pm, please choose to attend one session. Individual faculty advisement will take place in Union Ballroom immediately following mandatory General Advisement Sessions.

If you have questions about or a problem with your class schedule, this is your opportunity to meet with an academic advisor prior to classes beginning. Schedule adjustments will be made only if necessary and if seats are available in the alternate classes.

Extraordinary Scholarship Orientation

This session is mandatory for all students in the Extraordinary Academic Scholarship Program who did not attend a mandatory scholarship orientation during one of the Summer Orientation sessions. Specific information regarding the roles and expectations of students enrolled in the extraordinary scholarship program will be discussed.

Midnight Movie at the Strand

BSG sponsors $1 movie nights on Fridays throughout the semester at the Strand Theater. During Welcome Weekend, the midnight movie is on Saturday night and FREE with College at Brockport ID.

Mandatory event for all new students where actors present theatrical vignettes in an informal theater setting on important issues, such as sexual assault prevention, that may affect you as a college student. An information discussion follows each vignette. This session is for all residents of Benedict and Dobson Halls.
