One memorable experience from the first year at Brockport: The Academic Convocation Ceremony when we all lit candles and were welcomed to SUNY Brockport.
One piece of advice for any new student: Don’t be afraid to get involved!

One piece of advice for any new student: Attend all the activities you can and get involved! Campus life is a blast!!!

One memorable experience from first year at Brockport: It’s a toss up between working in Union Square and getting lost on a trip into Rochester, NY with friends.
One piece of advice for any new student: Don’t take everything so seriously that you are always stressed out, but don’t slack off and party all the time either. Find a happy medium. Enjoy Brockport! It has a lot to offer.

One piece of advice for any new student: Get involved! Be a part of various activities on campus. Manage your time wisely. Being a freshman can be overwhelming, but don’t worry, it is one of the most fun experiences of your life. Never be scared, always get out and talk to others!

One memorable experience from the first year at Brockport: Going to see Jodie Sweetin talk! It is something I would never have done unless I was at college and it was free. It was fun to just say I went and my friends and I laugh about it now.
One piece of advice for any new student: Take advantage of all the shows, concerts, contests, and opportunities on campus because they are fun (and cheap).

One piece of advice for any new student: Study hard but try and enjoy the whole experience. Brockport is a wonderful place to be. The people in the community are very nice and both staff and students make your experience here worth having.
