Tracy Kidder won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for The Soul of a New Machine, and has also won the Robert F. Kennedy Award, among other literary prizes. The author of House, Among Schoolchildren, Old Friends, and Home Town, Kidder lives in Massachusetts and Maine. His latest book is Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Could Cure the World.
