Biography

Dr. Barbara Mitrano has served as an adjunct with Brockport's Women and Gender Studies Program since 1998. While here, she has also served on the Women's Studies Advisory Board and the Women's Center Advisory Board. Dr. Mitrano has also created and taught an elective course, Gender Issues K-12, which explores how gender operates in school. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, reading, knitting, and crocheting. Although she is officially retired, she can't seem to give up teaching Women and Gender Studies!
