Currently, Dr. Jacobson is working on proposals for three new courses:

  • Intro to Men's Studies
  • Masculinity, Femininity, Religion, and Spirituality
  • Ecofeminism and Organized Culture

 

Biography

     Dr. Jacobson has served as an adjunct in Women and Gender studies since September 1997. Her work has challenged the a priori assumption that leisure is inherently a context for postitive messages about one's self. Over time, her areas of interest have shifted significantly. Currently, her reading and writing is focused on three areas:

  1. Mind, body, and spirit connection
  2. Post structural feminist pedagogies
  3. Ecofeminism
