Freshman Registration Manual
Registration for entering freshmen at The College at Brockport is handled through the mail and our Campus Information System (Banner) by a team of well-trained, experienced faculty advisors. The process is quite simple: part of your schedule is prescribed based upon your high school performance and your intended program of study at Brockport. By completing a Freshman Course Preference Request on Banner, you help us select the courses that will complete your first semester schedule.
To help inform you of your program here at Brockport, we've created the Freshman Registration Manual that explains all academic choices available to you. This manual will provide you with the vital information that you need to start off your career at Brockport on the right foot. Included in the manual is a list of all the majors we offer, details on the Teacher Certification programs, and explanations of the General Education requirements. This manual is intended as a reference tool for your first semester, but also to help you fill out the online Freshman Registration Request survey. If you are a new freshman, you can access this survey by signing into our Campus Information System.
