The College at Brockport's Living Learning Communities
The Brockport Global Village
The Brockport Global Village (BGV) is designed for first-year students with an interest in international and intercultural issues.

"The Brockport Global Village has been a great way to meet people from different cultural backgrounds. It has broadened my views and knowledge of the world, just by interacting with the people around me."
|
While living in recently renovated McLean Hall, students from the United States and countries throughout the world share and live in the BGV’s active community, providing opportunities for dynamic intellectual exploration and exchange. You will participate in educational events and activities in a residence hall atmosphere that nurtures cross-cultural relationships, adventuresome spirits and open minds.
You will work closely with faculty members who teach classes in related disciplines and participate in a wide range of internationally focused events including festivals, performing arts events and off-campus visits to the public market, museums and restaurants. You will arrive on campus two days before other first-year students to meet other members of the BGV and to help plan our activities.
Tentative Calendar: Fall 2009 BGV EventsMove events will be posted in the coming months!
