Media Center

 

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is fortunate to have a state of the art computing facility equipped with 25 Apple G4 Computers with 20 inch screens. Students may record their voices; hear what they have recorded, and then either save their file on a server or burn a CD Rom. The Center has three video cameras with firewire connections and the video editing program i-Movie to make your own movies. We are well equipped with software for every need. In addition to sound recording and editing software you will find Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite with In-Design, Photsoshop, and Illustrator, and Macromedia Studio with Dreamweaver , Flash and Fireworks. The Media Center is used principally for classes, but there are open hours as well. They are posted on the door of the Center in 110 Tower Fine Arts. Upon entering the building turn right, and the Center is the first door on the right. .
