Media Center
The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is fortunate to have a state of the art computing facility equipped with 25 brand new Apple iMac Computers with 20 inch screens. Students may record their voices; hear what they have recorded, and then either save their file on a server or burn a CD Rom. The Center has three video cameras with firewire connections and the video editing program i-Movie to make your own movies. We are well equipped with software for every need. In addition to sound recording and editing software you will find Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite with Dreamweaver, In-Design, Photsoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
The Media Center is used principally for classes, but there are open hours as well. They are posted on the door of the Center in 213 Dailey Hall. Upon entering the east end of the building go up the stairs to your right and then turn left and go all the way to the end of the hallway; 213 is just to the left at the end of the hallway.
