Medline Plus This is an excellent site from the National Library of Medicine. There is information on a wide variety of health topics, references to ongoing clinical trials, online medical dictionaries, directories of hospitals and physicians and of course, Medline, the major index to the medical literature.
CDC The Center for Disease Control is an excellent, informative government site providing information, reports and statistics on a wide range of healt topics.

AEGIS: AIDS Education Global Information System: Maintained by the Sisters of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary. Probably the most comprehensive HIV related Web site.
The Alternative Medicine Homepage: A gateway site maintained by Falk Library of Health Sciences, University of Pittsburgh.
