--The Office of The Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tourism Industries fosters tourism trade development and represents the United States in tourism-related meetings with foreign government officials. The Office is responsible for furthering the recommendations in the national tourism strategy from the White House Conference on Travel and Tourism (WHCTT).
