This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree; Ph.D
preferred where academic programming functions are included. Experience in educational
program delivery is required, and experience in programs dealing with providing
such services to underachievers or the disadvantaged preferred.

Serves on the professional
staff of an Educational Opportunity Center. Is responsible for the management
and supervision of a major organizational division or program such as Academic
Affairs, Student Personnel Services, Business Affairs, Research and Development,
Community Services and Relations and/or Special Programs. Typical duties within
each functional area include, but are not limited to: assisting the director in
the development of budgets; providing the leadership for and supervision of the
assigned staff; and managing the resources that are assigned to each functional
area.
