Brockport's academic standards place rigorous demands on students. At the Student
Learning Center (SLC), we encourage all Brockport students, whether entering
directly from high school, transferring from another institution, or simply continuing undergraduate or graduate coursework, to sharpen their writing, math, and study
skills, and to learn new computer skills to meet the challenges of college-level
work. The Student Learning Center provides a wide variety of academic support
services to meet these student needs.

SummerSession Writing Tutoring
The Student Learning Center is pleased to offer writing tutoring all summer long to help graduate and undergraduate students continue to improve their writing skills. Main campus students can make an appointment to work with a writing tutor one on one. MetroCenter students and students taking courses through the SUNY Learning Network can set up a remote writing tutoring session by following the steps on our Remote Writing Tutoring page.
