Brockport Ranked No. 64 regionally by US News & World Report
Ranking powered by again achieving far greater than predicted graduation rates
BROCKPORT, NY—The College at Brockport, State University of New York, has again been recognized for excellence by U.S. News & World Report. Brockport ranked No. 64 among all northern regional universities.
Brockport continues to excel in a key U.S. News metric, as the College again achieved far greater than predicted graduation rates. Sixty-eight percent of students who enrolled at the College in 2010 graduated in the Class of 2016, surpassing the 55 percent graduation rate that US News predicted for the cohort.
“We are pleased to again be recognized by US News & World Report with this distinction,” said Brockport President Heidi Macpherson. “We take great pride in our College being a great place at which to learn. Our success can be directly attributed to our talented and dedicated faculty and staff and our incredible students. We are extremely grateful for all they do each and every day.”
SUNY Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson applauded Brockport and other SUNY schools for their success.
“Each of SUNY’s 64 colleges and universities help our students find their purpose and their passion. Whether it’s in research, education, outreach, or engagement, our colleges and universities strive to achieve excellence in everything they do,” said Johnson. “We are thrilled that so many of our SUNY campuses have again received favorable rankings by U.S. News & World Report. While we appreciate that rankings are one indication of quality, it does help demonstrate that SUNY is one of the best national education systems. Congratulations to each of the SUNY campuses recognized by the 2018 U.S. News & World Report rankings.”
