Alex Krolikowski was named the 2011 President’s Citation Award recipient, the highest award given by the College to an undergraduate student, and maintained at 3.97 GPA. Alex is the recipient of the Sigma XI Award for Research and was the first place winner in the undergraduate Scientific and Technical Writing category for The College’s 8th Annual Celebration of Writing Program. He has received several grants including, the Competitive Travel Grant for Undergraduate Students, the Brockport Foundation Summer Research Program, and the Psi Chi Undergraduate Research Award for Summer Research. Alex was a member of the Alpha Chi and Psi Chi honor societies and was named in the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Alex was engaged in numerous research projects and wrote his Honors senior thesis on “The Influence of Subtle and Blatant Prejudice on Group Identity.”
