Scott Gordan '08

Scott Gordan 08’ of Syracuse, NY, believes his Brockport experience was practical in that, “I had a great time and got a good education, I use things I have learned every day now.” During his time at Brockport, Gordan, a biological Science major and chemistry minor, was a tutor, teaching assistant and a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Gordan also completed research with Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences Adam Rich. “My interactions with Dr. Rich in class, in the lab and personally have significantly altered the course of my life in an extremely positive way.”

Gordan is now a first-year graduate student in the PhD program in pathobiology and molecular medicine at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine and credits his experience at Brockport for his success.“My laboratory research experience has caused me to realize a life dream that I am now in the process of accomplishing.”
