Transfer Credit Evaluations

The evaluation of transcripts from other institutions to determine The College at Brockport credit will now fall under The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and will remain on the main floor of Rakov.

We provide services and resources to enhance learning inside and outside of the classroom. Your academic and personal success — however you define it — is important. We want you to get the most out of your experience at Brockport.

The Office of Advisement and Retention provides a variety of services for undergraduate students:

  • Coordinate the College's faculty-based advisement system
  • Provide students with information and advice concerning academic policies and procedures
  • Explain how transfer credits apply to Brockport requirements
  • Coordinate all advisement and registration programs for incoming freshman and new transfer students
  • Provide information and advice concerning academic eligibility for financial aid
  • Assist students who are experiencing academic challenges
  • Assist students with the transition to college
