  • MTH 201 Calculus I
  • BIO 201 Biology I
  • CHM 206 College Chemistry  II

NOTE: Minimum grades of “C” in CHM 205 and CHM206 are required before students are allowed to take further chemistry courses in the major.

Required Courses in the Sophomore Year

First Semester Second Semester
  •  CHM 305 Organic Chemistry  I
  • BIO 302 Genetics
  • PHS 235 Physics I

Prerequisite Courses

CHM 467, MTH 202, and PHS 235 or 240 are prerequisites for CHM 404 (taken in either the junior or senior year). CHM 306 is prerequisite for CHM 467 (taken in either the junior or senior year).
