Assessing Student Learning in Online Environments - Register Online 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm On Friday, March 9, The Office of Special Sessions & Programs (SS&P) and The Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT) are hosting an Online Teaching & Learning Expo (Assessing Student Learning in Online Environments), 12:30-2:30 pm, Seymour College Union, Ballroom. Are you interested in learning more about 100% online (ASY or CMB) teaching and learning? Join us for an electronic demonstration session, and learn how online faculty assess student learning. Also participating, are experts in Blackboard, Drake Library, New Online Faculty Training, Technology Tools, Student Concierge Services, and Authentic Assessment. Join us on Friday, March 9, 2018, 12:30-2:30 pm, Seymour College Union, Ballroom. (Lunch will be provided).

Ed Tech Day at Ithaca College - Register Online Ed Tech Day is Ithaca College's one-day showcase of what is new in computer and communications technologies. You will have the opportunity to learn how faculty, staff, and students are using technology in and out of the classroom. The program includes a special track dedicated to innovations and best practices in using technology for teaching and learning. We will leave Brockport at 6:30am on Thursday, March 22 and return by 6:30pm the same day. There are 6 spots available.

The first 25 people to visit CELT (Edwards 100B) get a free copy. As experts in our fields, we know how to design a course that would work for us. But do we know how to design a course that will work for our students? “How Learning Works” will address that issue with proven concepts that work at the college level.
