All students completing certification programs at The College at Brockport must complete both CAD (Child Abuse Identification) and SAVE (School Violence and Intervention) training.
Main Page Content
Most certification candidates, through their studies here at Brockport, enroll in coursework that offers the opportunity to complete these required trainings.
However, not all students complete these trainings through their Brockport studies. Most affected are transfer students and graduate students seeking their first certification.
Any student not able to show proof of training completion, and not scheduled to complete a course that offers such training, can complete either workshop through an online workshop (see below). Please note that once you have completed an online workshop, you must print your certificate of completion, sign and date it, and forward a copy to your academic department as proof that you have satisfied that program requirement.
