APPLYING FOR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION OR NOT THROUGH A PREPARATION PROGRAM

Main Page Content

There are instances where you may be applying for a certification and you have NOT completed an Approved Teacher Preparation Program.  In these cases, you will NOT submit a Recommendation Form or use a program code.

Professional Certification

An example of not needing to submit the Recommendation Form nor using a code is applying for Professional Certification if you DID NOT complete a graduate program leading to that certification.

Requirements

These must be completed within 5 years of the issue date of your Initial Certificate.

Applying for Certificate

First, log in and apply on TEACH Online Services. Once you see the screen below, you will have three options.
