|Research Interests:||My research focuses on the rhetorical creation and maintenance of identity. I am particularly interested in the rhetorical dimensions of "American", "un-American", and how rhetoric assigns or denies agency because of gender, sex, race, class, and religion. I am comfortable with rhetorical criticism and theory application. My work has employed neo-Aristotelian criticism, close textual analysis, Burkean criticism, as well as post-structural analysis.|
