Brian DiSalvo has been a college professor since 2008. He is an alumni member of SUNY Brockport (B.S., Criminal Justice, 2001), and a graduate of Keuka College (M.S., Criminal Justice Administration, 2007).

His research interests include a myriad of law enforcement related topics. He takes a keen interest in student success and job placement, and is qualified to instruct a variety of courses based on a combination of education and law enforcement experience.
Brian DiSalvo is currently employed as Police Officer with the City of Rochester, NY, and is assigned to the West Patrol Division. Over seven years of experiences with RPD include a recent lengthy stint as a background investigator, emergency vehicle operations course instructor, general topics instructor, and field training officer. In addition he has been involved with major felony investigations including robbery, burglary, assault, homicide, gun, drug, rape, and domestic disputes. He has also assisted with recruiting functions for the Rochester Police Department.
Before coming to Rochester Brian DiSalvo gained experience for two years as an Agent for the former U.S. Customs Service in the port of Buffalo/Niagara Falls, NY, where he prevented terrorist threats, stopped the flow of illegal narcotics, and undeclared currency.
