2/2016 Congratulations, Mike Rodgers (MET '12), on the successful defense of your thesis in the Environmental Science & Biology Masters program at Brockport.  
1/2016 Chad Selbert (GEL '13) received a promotion at the Bureau of Meteorology in Brisbane, Australia. Congratulations!  
11/2015 Chyna Glenn (MET '14) begins her new job as forecaster with AccuWeather.

5/2014 Congratulations, Micheal Simpson (MET '12), on completing your MS at Saint Louis University. Micheal is currently working toward a doctorate in water resources at SLU. Good luck!  
3/2014 Jef Polkowski (ESC/WTR'12)received the Student Planner award from the Nebraska Chapter of the American Planning Association for his work with the town of Lincoln, NE. Jef is currently working on his thesis at University of Nebraska in Lincoln. linkedin
3/2014 Molly Stetz (WTR '12) received both the New York State Earth Team Volunteer Award (12/2013) and the National Individual Earth Team Volunteer Award (3/2014) for her volunteer work with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).  
9/2013 Bryan Kaproth (GEL '07) completed his PhD in Geosciences at Penn State in August 2013, and in September his article entitled "Slow Earthquakes, Preseismic Velocity Changes, and the Origin of Slow Frictional Stick-Slip," was published in the prestigious Science magazine. [September 13, 2013: Vol. 341 no. 6151 pp. 1229-1232.] In December, Bryan was hired at Noble Energy in Colorado, just four months after completing his PhD program. IN
