Undergraduate research at Brockport gives students an opportunity to work closely with a faculty mentor on scholarly or creative projects directly related to a student's major.
Main Page Content
Undergraduate Research is a collaboration—a shared experience; a means to discover, create, and acquire new knowledge and methods in the discipline. Embracing the pillar of engaged learning, research programs at the undergraduate and graduate level support both the focused student-learner and the dedicated faculty-mentor.
As part of a hands-on approach to learning, creating, research, and writing, the Undergraduate Research Program at Brockport encompasses:
- Scholars Day
- Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP)
- NCUR & SURC Fellows Program
- Student Travel Grants
Graduate-level Research and discovery continues our investment and support for student scholars.
“Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose. ” -Zora Neale Hurston
