There are several steps you need to go through in order to complete application for SUNY- Brockport admission. The list below is a quick overview of required documents to apply:

  • Online application and application fee (U.S. $50.00)
  • All Official transcripts from previous universities
  • 76 TOEFL or 6 IELTS or completion of ELS 112 or 3.7 iTEP
  • 1 personal essay

How to Apply

Step 1: Submit an online application and pay application fee

Choose from either Apply SUNY (SOAR) or The Common Application.

Step 2: Prepare academic records

Prepare an official or true certified copy from your university (transcripts, examination scores, mark sheets, etc.) in both English and the original language.

Step 3: Prepare TOEFL/ IELTS scores

Submit a TOEFL or IELTS score. If you are applying for conditional admission, these scores are not required.

Step 4: Prepare an autobiographical/ personal essay

Prepare 250-500 words length of an autobiographical essay in English. It can address one of the following:

  • Reasons for selecting the field of study
  • Special interest and abilities
  • Plans for further study and/or employment after completing your degree
  • Your family background

Step 5: Check that all documents were submitted

Make sure all the documents from Steps 1 through 5 are fully prepared and submitted. Below is the mailing address:
