What You’ll Learn

The concentration in adapted physical education prepares you to work with children in any setting. You'll learn how to modify physical education activities for students with various levels of ability.

The concentration is designed to be completed in conjunction with the physical education teacher education major and requires 12 credits of adapted physical education classes. It offers elective opportunities for physical education majors and will prepare you for a position in the field or provide a background for graduate study.
