Linda Snell, DNS, RN

Bio: Dr. Snell has been teaching at The College at Brockport, State university of New York since 2001. She earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College. Her graduate work in Women's Health Nursing was completed at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Snell practiced for many years as a Women's Health NP and taught both undergraduate and graduate students. Currently, she teaches Nursing Research and Nursing Leadership & Management in the RN to BSN program.
Over her career, Dr. Snell has done research in several areas. Topics of interest include nursing care of pregnant women with nausea and vomiting, nurse practitioner education issues, nursing care of women with disabilities, and education issues focused on students with disabilities. Dr. Snell has published and presented at numerous local, regional, and national conferences on these topics.
In addition to her passion for nursing education, Dr. Snell enjoys travel, knitting, quilting, and time in the pool. She is well known as a fan of Mickey Mouse and all things chocolate! She has two grown sons and enjoys visits with their families and her grandchildren.
