SUNY Brockport online courses are offered by accessing the Internet. They provide flexible scheduling and learning virtually for students who find it difficult to fit a traditional class into their schedules.
Our online courses are taught and taken via the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS). To take an online course, you need to have access to a computer with a connection to the Internet (whether at home, school or work), possess or be willing to learn basic computer skills, and have the ability to work independently and keep yourself on schedule with your studies. If you are transferring course credits to your program of study, first obtain verification in writing with your home campus that the course credit will transfer.
