On April 11, 1969, the Center for Philosophic Exchange was established to conduct a continuing program of philosophical inquiry relating to both academic and public issues. Each year the Center hosts three to four speakers, each of whom gives a public lecture that is intended for a general audience. These lectures are then published in the journal, Philosophic Exchange, which as of 2013 is online and open-access.
