Job Title: Industry Vice President, Higher Education, US Enterprise Unit
BJ Davis is the Higher Education, Industry Vice President for Xerox Corporation. She was named to this position in September of 2017. In this role, Ms. Davis is accountable for the $1.5B Higher Education industry and leads a team of sales professionals sharing Xerox's innovative technologies and software solutions with colleges and universities nationwide. Additionally, she also drives development of Xerox's strategic approach and commercial models to support this critical market.
Beginning in 2014, Ms. Davis served as senior vice president of Xerox's Worldwide Bid Operations group where she had overall responsibility for delivering $3B in Managed Document Outsourcing signings annually. She led a global, cross-functional team of bid and proposal managers, contract managers and data analysts responsible for capturing and closing new business and renewal opportunities across the globe. Her teams' comprehensive data-gathering and analytics approach supported the development of pursuit-specific intelligence gathering key customer insights and improving win rates. Prior to this role, Ms. Davis was Vice President of the US Bid Center leading domestic pursuits for the US direct sales organization.
Ms. Davis joined the company in 1997 as a sales executive in San Francisco, CA. She has held a variety of senior sales positions including sales manager, global account general manager and focused executive for some of Xerox's largest accounts.
Ms. Davis resides in Brighton, NY with her husband and high school aged daughter. Her oldest child is currently a second year at Denison University in Granville, OH. BJ earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Howard University.
