Brockport Summer LEAP is one of 19 enrichment programs in the Greater Rochester Summer Learning Association, including similar programs at the University of Rochester, Nazareth College, Monroe Community College, and SUNY Geneseo. The program at Brockport, which is in its third year, works specifically with children from Enrico Fermi School 17.

Accreditations

Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
Since 1835, The College at Brockport has provided a transformational environment for future educators. Now, we are among the first institutions in New York to receive full accreditation through CAEP. We are proud to have earned this prestigious accreditation, which will continue our tradition of producing the best educators in New York.

National Association of Schools of Public Affairs & Administration (NASPAA)
The MPA program at the College at Brockport prepares leaders and managers in public, health care, and nonprofit management and is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). NASPAA is the recognized global accreditor of MPA programs and ensures that our students get the education and training needed to enter professional service.

Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
The undergraduate Social Work Program was established in 1971 and has been continuously accredited through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) since 1973. CSWE is the only national accrediting body for social work education in the United States and US territories.

The Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW Program of The College at Brockport and Nazareth College was the first public university/private university collaborative MSW program in the country. The GRC MSW program is in its 16th year of operation. It received initial accreditation from The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in 2003 and was reaccredited in 2007 and 2015 (for eight years).

CACREP Accredited & IRCEP Registered
In 1987, the Department of Counselor Education was the first in New York state to receive CACREP accreditation. Our faculty are locally, regionally and nationally recognized leaders in the field.
