The Sociology Club is a student-run club that began in the 1970s. Its purpose is to plan events of interest to sociology majors and other students at The College at Brockport. Past events have included career panels, alumni panels, film screenings and discussions, meetings with visiting speakers and candidates for faculty positions, social events, and service activities. Participating in The Sociology Club is a great way to get to know other majors, interact with professors outside of class, and learn organizational management skills.
Want to get involved? Anyone is welcome. Watch for forthcoming information in early fall 2017, or contact the club advisor, Dr. Boyd. You can also visit the Club page on the MyBrockport site here.
