Financing Community Development in Uncertain Times

This research focuses on the field of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in the US. These organizations provide financing for housing and business development in poor and distressed communities. We are examining how these organizations collaborate with mainstream financial institutions and how CDFI leaders are coping with the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.

Local Knowledge in Multinational Corporations

This research examines how foreign and local managers at the subsidiaries of multinational corporations in Hungary use their social knowledge of the corporate world and the local economy to cope with emerging market conditions in Hungary and “the global game” within their multinational network.
