SUNY Washington Internship Program

Spending a semester in Washington, DC is a great way to get some experience in your field and test drive your career in the real world. You will learn on the job whether your chosen field is the best one for you, and make some connections that might even help you land your first job after college.

Current Status for Summer 2021

Given the continued unpredictability of COVID-19, our DC internship program has transitioned to a hybrid model for the Summer 2021 term whereby some students are undertaking in-person internships in DC and others are undertaking remote virtual internships from home. To accommodate both groups of students, all course seminars will be completed virtually and remotely. We do not yet know how the Fall 2021 term will look, but it is quite possible that we will again offer a hybrid approach to accommodate the needs of students..
