Dr. Jie Zhang Joins Colleagues from Seven SUNY Campuses and Presents at the SUNY Diversity Conference 2017
Dr. Jie Zhang from the Department of Education and Human Development joined nine colleagues from seven other SUNY campuses to present at the SUNY Diversity Conference 2017.
Dr. Jie Zhang, Associate Professor from the Department of Education and Human Development, joined nine colleagues from seven other SUNY campuses to present at the SUNY Diversity Conference 2017. Her co-presenters were Drs. Tamu Chambers from Hudson Valley Community College, Ekow King from University at Albany, Carlos Jones from SUNY Buffalo State, Mary Bonderoff, Laura Pierie, Marquis Bennett, and Timothy Gerken from Morrisville State College, Sherri Darrow from University at Buffalo, and Nazely Kurkjian from SUNY System Administration. This presentation has received very positive feedback and a high level of interest from the participants.
This presentation was Part Two of a one-year-long Diversity Assessment Project led by Dr. Timothy Gerken, Chair of the SUNY University Faculty Senate (USF) Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Part One of the project was the SUNY Conversations in Disciplines (CID) Conference on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Outcomes and Assessment, which was held at Morrisville State College on Oct. 5, 2017.
