Outstanding Adult Student Award
Please speak up for our adult students! Now is your opportunity to recognize our adult students’ outstanding academic achievements. Nominations will be accepted for the Outstanding Adult Student (OAS) award until noon on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. This is an annual award sponsored by Rochester Area Colleges Continuing Education (RACCE) consortium and the Office of Special Sessions and Programs. The OAS award recognizes adult students (i.e., 25 years and older) who have been especially successful at combining college study with other responsibilities of family, job/career, and community service. Nomination forms are located online at the second link below.
Thursday, February 27, noon is the deadline for nominations to be received by the Office of Special Sessions and Programs (607 Allen Administration Building). For further information, contact Karen Schuhle-Williams at 395-5724 or Sue Derry at 395-5720.

•Cyril & Gertrude Stanton Hare Scholarship
This scholarship was established in memory of Cyril and Gertrude Hare, parents of the late Professor Emeritus Marguerite Hare Browne ’44. This scholarship encourages, recognizes, and assists an outstanding non-traditional undergraduate or graduate student preparing for a career in education at The College at Brockport.
•Karen Schuhle-Williams Exemplary Adult Student Scholarship
This scholarship supports a working adult student, either full time or part time, graduate or undergraduate, who is 25 years old or older, who has a GPA of 3.25 and demonstrates financial need. Preference will be given to women students.
