Brockport Crop Hunger Walk

The College at Brockport is helping to end hunger one step at a time by participating in this year's Brockport CROP Hunger Walk, and the Gold Certificate students in the Leadership Development Program are leading the College's charge.

CROP Hunger Walks were the first charity walk in our nation and remain a grassroots effort symbolizing the daily journey that many must make for their basic needs. Hunger is everywhere – even in our own neighborhood. A quarter of all funds raised stays in our community and will be donated to the Brockport Food Shelf, and 75% supports sustainable hunger responses around the world.

The Brockport Crop Hunger Walk is taking place on Sunday, May 6 at 12:30 pm, starting at the Brockport First Presbyterian Church at 35 State Street, Brockport. Our goal this year is to have increased participation from students, faculty and staff from the College.

Get Involved! You can reduce hunger and poverty through your advocacy for social justice and through your actions to educate and mobilize others to walk. To donate and/or register to walk, please go to and join "The College at Brockport" team. You do not need to donate money to register for the walk.
