Congratulations to the 2017-18 Community Service Award Winners!

Seventy students and 21 organizations/groups on campus were recognized for their exemplary service to the community over the 2017-18 service year. All recipients received certificates for their accomplishments.

Individual students and organizations/groups at The College at Brockport were recognized for their exemplary service to the community over the 2017-18 service year. Recipients of the Eagle Service Honor Roll, Eagle Service Group Honor Roll, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award received certificates of completion. All individual award winners registered their service hours on myBROCKPORT and all group award winners sent their hours to the Coordinator of Service and Community Building.

The first award, the Eagle Service Honor Roll, is a college-wide recognition of student dedication and commitment to serving their community through volunteer and service work.

Recipients for the Bronze Eagle Service Honor Roll (30-40 registered hours): Lauren Andrews, Jenna Baer, Nina Isabel Cabahug, Matthew Febles, Amy Gagliano, Helen Knapp, Kelsie Kupiec, Ashley Palmer, Desteni Perez, Connor Pittari, Julia Riehl, William Simmons, Sara Stiles and Courtland Zinn

Recipients for the Silver Eagle Service Honor Award (41-70 registered hours): Jasmine Bradwell, Emily Burgher, Martha Donnelly, Ikponmwonosa, Edosomwan, Elizabeth Green, Alexandra Haefele, Elizabeth Hoertz, Benjamin Hood, Austin Jackson, Evan Ling, Megan Mastrodomenico, Andrew Mitchell, Priscilla Paredes, Scott Parnell, Victor Peterson, Sabrina Rotenberg, Sarah Schahczenski, Julie Sciolino, Ieisha Scott, Josiah Seaburg, Aaron Snyder, Hannah Szumloz and Kyle Wilkes.

Recipients for the Gold Eagle Service Honor Roll (71-99 registered hours): Shaniece Blair, Matthew Goris, Caitlyn Roden and Michelle Thomas.

The second award, the President’s Volunteer Service Award, is a national recognition that encourages citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude.

Recipients for the Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Award (100-174 registered hours): Chantell Belnavis, Taylor Bock, Jill Coyne, Jessica Fousse, Sharon Hensel, Caitlyn Koch, Lucky Light, Gabriela Mercurio, Meghan Myers, Adrianna Thrasher-Scutt and Rebecca Wegman.

Recipients for the Silver Presidential Volunteer Service Award (175-249 registered hours): Melanie Bernocco, Dayna Fenton, Danyelle Fenton, Kristi Lane, Michaela Sherry, Meghan Walters and Estelle Zovedi.

Recipients for the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award (250+ registered hours): Herard Auguste, Lauren Bates, Nicholle Caserta, Emily Marge, Kaleem Mogent, Ashleigh Petrucci, Taryn Prutsman, Yezenia Rodriquez, Gloria Schou and Kevin Zimmer.

The last award, the Eagle Service Group Honor Roll, is a college-wide award that recognizes groups on campus for their service to the community.

Recipents of the Bronze Eagle Service Group Honor Roll (80-99 hours): BARC, Men’s Club Volleyball, and Brockport Club Gymnastics

Recipients of the Gold Eagle Service Group Honor Roll (120+ hours): ALAS, Dance Team, Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Sigma Sigma, Pi Kappa Phi, Varsity Track and Field, and Women’s Club Rugby.
