Brockport is Well Represented at the SUNY Fifth Annual Applied Learning Conference
Brockport faculty and staff members presented at the Fifth Annual SUNY Applied Learning Conference on November 1 - 2, 2018.
Ms. Lindsay Crane, Associate Director of Education Abroad in the Center for Global Education and Engagement, presented “SUNY stands with Puerto Rico: Lessons learned and stories worth telling” with James Pasquill and Christian Speedling in the Office of Global Affairs, SUNY System Administration.
Dr. Laurel McNall, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, presented “Using data to make the case for an internship course in psychology.”
Dr. Jie Zhang, Associate Professor in the Department of Education and Human Development, presented “Learning culturally responsive pedagogy through a family collaboration service learning project.”
Ms. Tricia Snyder, Coordinator of Field Experience in the Department of Social Work, also participated in the conference.
Brockport faculty and staff members use applied learning as a vehicle to make positive impact on student learning and to strengthen the partnership with local and international communities.
